Bottle Notes, Pinot Noir

2018 Anderson Family Vineyard Pinot Noir – Bottle Notes

Anderson Family Vineyard was founded by Cliff and Allison Anderson over 20 years ago. The winery is situated in the Dundee Hills of Willamette Valley and specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Ruby red in color. 13.8% ABV. Gorgeous nose of dark fruits, cloves, earth and flowers. Full bodied with medium acidity. Deep, rich and brooding. Black cherry, pomegranate, cranberry and mushroom on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Delicious, well made and aging well. I’ll open another bottle in 2027.

My rating: 92 points.

The winery is open by appointment for tastings and is still accepting members for their mailing list and wine club. I had the opportunity to visit on my last trip to the Willamette Valley and could not have been more impressed.
