Bottle Notes, Chardonnay

2019 Anderson Family Vineyard Chardonnay – Bottle Notes

Anderson Family Vineyard was founded by Cliff and Allison Anderson over 20 years ago. The winery is situated in the Dundee Hills of Willamette Valley and specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Golden in color. 13% ABV. Pretty nose of tropical fruits, lemon oil, butter and flowers. Full bodied with ample acidity. Rich and oily. Mango, pineapple, lemon and butterscotch on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Tasty but lacking the structure to keep much longer. Best over the next year or so.

My rating: 90 points.

The winery is open by appointment for tastings and is still accepting members for their mailing list and wine club. I had the opportunity to visit on my last trip to the Willamette Valley and could not have been more impressed.
