Convene was founded by Dan Kosta in 2019. Shane Finley is the Winemaker. Dan and Shane previously partnered at AldenAlli and I have followed Dan Kosta since Kosta Browne launched over 20 years ago. Convene specializes in Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Straw colored. 14.1% ABV. Sublime nose of stone fruits, hazelnuts, lemon oil and fresh bread. Full bodied with tremendous acidity. Rich, lush and oily. Pear, Meyer lemon and vanilla creme brulee on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Stunning Chardonnay that is ever so decadent. Best over the next 2-4 years.

I’ve been on the Convene mailing list since the start and look forward to following the wines in the years to come. I also hope to visit Convene on my next trip to Healdsburg.
