Dehlinger Winery is located in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County and was founded in 1975 by Tom and Carole Dehlinger. Eva Dehlinger took over winemaking duties in 2007. Known for their Pinot Noir, Dehlinger also makes Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah
Purple in color. 14.9% ABV. Stunning nose of black fruits, leather and licorice. Medium to full bodied with tremendous structure and concentration. Perfect balance of fruit and tannins. Black currants, cassis and tobacco on the palate. Nice length on the finish. More reminiscent of a classic Bordeaux than contemporary Cabernets from Northern California. Really well made and ready to drink. Best over the next several years.
