Bedrock Wine Co. was founded by Morgan Twain-Peterson in 2007 and focuses on small production wines from many of California’ s most treasured and historic vineyards. The lineup of wines at Bedrock is expansive, but I think the best of the best are the ancient vineyard Zinfandels, Morgan is clearly passionate about.
Teldeschi Ranch is in Dry Creek Valley and was orginally planted in 1900. The vineyard is tended to by John and Caterina Teldeschi.
Crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. Soaring nose of dark fruits, anise and white pepper. Full bodied with medium acidity. Packed with plush, dark fruits. The proverbial fruit bomb. Black cherry, blackberry, earth and pepper on the palate. Nice length on the finish. Tough vintage in the Dry Creek Valley but this wine shines. Best over the next 3-5 years.
