Bottle Notes, Pinot Noir

2021 Dobbes Grand Assemblage Pinot Noir – Bottle Notes

Dobbes Family Estate was founded in 2002 by Joe Dobbes. Derek Einberger is the winemarker at Dobbes. The portfolio of wines include: Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Sparkling Wine and a number of unique dessert wines.

Crimson in color. 13.5% ABV. Stunning nose of red fruits, cloves and earth. Medium body with perfect acidity. Bursting with bright, crunchy fruits. Bing Cherry, black tea, cranberry and minerals on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Incredibly charming Pinot Noir that you can open now or stash in the cellar. Best over the net 5-7 years. $35 at the winery and retail.

My rating: 93 points

Review based on a sample provided by the winery.

The winery is located in Dundee and takes visitors. I do hope to visit on my next trip to the Willamette Valley and look forward to following the winery in the years to come.
