Result of a Crush was started by Amanda Reynvaan and Angela Reynvaan Garratt in 2011, along with their brother Matt as consulting winemaker. From the beginning the objectives were high value/lower cost Rhone style wines that can be enjoyed every day and to produce that wine at a quality level equal to wines that sell for latest twice as much.
The 2015 Red Wine is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache.
Crimson in color. 13.4% ABV. Funky nose of red and blue fruits, olive tapenade and grilled meats. Full bodied with perfect acidity. Rich and deceptively powerful. Cherries, boysenberries, smoke and pepper on the palate. The finish is long and silky. Fantastic wine that over delivers for the price. If there was ever a Washington wine to buy by the case this would be in the conversation. Drink over the next 4-6 years.
