Morét-Brealynn is a boutique, eponymous label founded in 2021 by Morét Brealynn Chavez. Based in Sonoma County, the winery focuses on small-lot, vineyard-driven wines, particularly Pinot Noir. Adam Lee is a consultant for the winery.
Lakeview Vineyard is situated in the Green Valley portion of Russian River Valley.
Ruby red in color. 14.4% ABV. Beautiful nose of red fruits, cloves, cola and flowers. Medium body with perfect acidity. Incredibly charming with elegant fruits. Cherry, strawberry, pomegranate and earth on the palate. The finish is long, warm and supple. Delightful Pinot Noir that will only get better in the years to come. I’ll open another bottle in 2028.
My rating: 92 points.
The 2024 vintage of this wine was previously released at a price of $72.
I am relatively new to Morét-Brealynn and I certainly look forward to following the winery in the years to come.
