2024 Navarro Vineyards Chardonnay Anderson Valley – Bottle Notes

Located in the Anderson Valley, Navarro Vineyards has been producing exceptional, fairly-priced wines since 1974. The winery is best known for its range of Pinot Noirs, including the showstopper Deep End Blend (available through futures). They also produce an age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon a delicious Zinfandel and their whites are noteworthy and food friendly with an exceptional Riesling, Gewurztaminer and Gruner Vetliner amongst many others.

Golden in color. 13.3% ABV. Succulent nose of stone fruits, green apple and freshly cut grass. Medium body with perfect acidity. Lush and refreshing. Pear, apple, vanilla and a hint of toast on the palate. The finish is long and supple. Delicious and easy to drink. The Chardonnay program at Navarro is on point. Best over the next several years.

My rating: 90 points.

$27 at the winery.

You absolutely must visit the winery if you are ever in the Anderson Valley and yours truly recently joined the wine club after a long hiatus.
