Founded in 2005 by winemaker Mike Smith and his wife Leah, Myriad Cellars is a boutique Napa Valley winery focusing on high end Cabernet Sauvignon. Smith, a former protégé of Thomas Rivers Brown, established the brand for high-quality, limited-production wines using premium fruit from vineyards like Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Georges III.
Tofanelli Vineyard is located at the top of Napa Valley near the town of Calistoga and dates back to the early 1900’s.
Straw colored. 13.2% ABV. Pretty nose of melon, lemon, grass and vanilla. Medium to full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Rich and oily with tremendous mouthfeel. Pear, lemon oil, baking spices and vanilla creme brulee on the palate. The finish is long and supple. Delightful with carnitas on a warm Spring night in Seattle. Best over the next 1-2 years.
