Bottle Notes, Pinot Noir

2021 Morét-Brealynn Pinot Noir – Bottle Notes

Morét-Brealynn is a boutique, eponymous label founded in 2021 by Morét Brealynn Chavez. Based in Sonoma County, the winery focuses on small-lot, vineyard-driven wines, particularly Pinot Noir. Adam Lee is a consultant for the winery.

Crimson in color. 14.4% ABV. Bottled under a screw cap. Beautiful nose of red fruits, baking spices and rose petals. Medium to full bodied with exquisite acidity. Lush and opulent with vibrant fruits. Cherry, strawberry, raspberry and cloves on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Fruit forward and absolutely delicious. Best over the next 3-5 years.

My rating: 94 points.

The 2024 vintage of this wine was previously released at a price of $52.

My first time trying a wine from Morét-Brealynn and I certainly look forward to following the winery in the years to come.
