Bedrock Wine Co. was founded by Morgan Twain-Peterson in 2007 and focuses on small production wines from many of California’ s most treasured and historic vineyards. The lineup of wines at Bedrock is expanding rapidly, but I think the best of the best are the ancient vineyard Zinfandels, Morgan is clearly passionate about.
Lorenzo’s Heritage comes from Teldeschi Ranch in Dry Creek Valley and was planted between 1900 and 1955. The vineyard is tended to by John and Caterina Teldeschi.
Purple in color. 14.5% ABV. Sublime nose of black fruits, licorice and pepper. Full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Packed with dark, vibrant fruits. Black raspberry, blackberry liqueur, anise and pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. The best Lorenzo’s that I can recall. Best over the next 4-6 years.

Just came back from Bedrock yesterday after a recommendation from Andrew at Biale. It was as you said, outstanding and the customer service was excellent. Left with 4 bottles for my wine room and will return next year.
