Bedrock Wine Co. was founded by Morgan Twain-Peterson in 2007 and focuses on small production wines from many of California’ s most treasured and historic vineyards. The lineup of wines at Bedrock is expanding rapidly, but I think the best of the best are the ancient vineyard Zinfandels, Morgan is clearly passionate about.
Dolinsek Ranch is in the Russian River Valley and was planted a little over 100 years ago.
Purple in color. 14.5% ABV. Sublime nose of ripe red fruits, anise, citrus and pepper. Medium to full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Bright, juicy fruits in spades. Cherry, raspberry liqueur, blood orange and pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish with some silky, prominent tannins. Delicious field blend that should age effortlessly. Best over the next 3-5 years.
