2017 Sleight of Hand Grenache Sorceress – Bottle Notes

Sleight of Hand was founded in 2007 by Jerry & Sandy Solomon and Trey Busch. The formula at Sleight of Hand is high quality wines from Washington’s most exceptional vineyards. Sleight of Hand produces a full range of red and whites and without question has one of the top few tasting rooms in both Walla Walla and SoDo.

100% Grenache from Upland and French Creek Vineyards.

Crimson in color. 15% ABV. Savory nose of red fruits, roasted herbs and rose petals. Medium body with strong acidity. Rich, elegant and silky. Strawberry, kirsch, blood and white pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Super Grenache and consistently one of my favorite wines in the Sleight of Hand lineup. Best over the next 5-7 years.

My rating: 93 points.

I’m not a big wine club guy but if I had to pick one from Washington, Sleight of Hand would be near the top of my list.
