2000 Rochioli Pinot Noir Little Hill Block – Bottle Notes

Rochioli 2000 Little Hill Pinot Noir

Rochioli Vineyards & Winery is one of the true pioneers in Russian River Valley, with a winemaking history dating back to the the late 1950′s. Although best known for their world class Pinot Noir, Rochioli also produces remarkable Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

2000 is the year my wife and I married, so we opened this bottle to celebrate our anniversary. We’re fortunate to have some stellar Pinot Noir to get us through the shut down phase of 2000 Bordeaux.

Dark in color. A brooding nose of cherries and rhubarb. Tart cherries, earth, mushrooms, mineral, baking spice and a touch of cinnamon. The wine has an exceptionally long and heavenly finish.

Search high and low for any and all of the Rochioli wines.
